Questions about your move
Questions from readers help decide what gets explained next, so feel free to ask about choosing a city, cost of living, safety, residency or how owning or renting property works for foreigners. It helps to mention the general context, such as the towns you’re comparing, whether you plan to rent or buy, or whether you’re thinking of temporary or permanent residency. Mexico Shores can’t give personal legal, tax, immigration or financial advice, but a good question often turns into a clearer guide for everyone. For decisions about your own situation, please speak with a Mexican notario público, a licensed attorney, a qualified tax professional or the Mexican consulate.
Suggesting a place, service or product
If you’d like to see a town, neighborhood, app, lender, insurer, relocation service or other resource covered, send its name and a sentence or two about why it matters to you. Businesses are welcome to make suggestions too. Every suggestion is weighed only on whether it would help readers, and there is no paid coverage, sponsored ranking or paid review. Sending a suggestion doesn’t guarantee that it will be covered, or covered favorably.
Corrections and updates
Rules, thresholds, advisories and prices change, and a careful reader is often the first to notice. If something looks wrong or outdated, please include the page address, the statement you’re questioning and, if possible, the source with the newer information. Each correction is checked against the official or primary source before the page is updated.
What not to send
Please don’t send passport or visa numbers, bank or financial statements, property deeds, tax records or other sensitive documents. A short description of your question is all that’s needed. You can read how messages are handled in the Privacy Policy.
Ask a question about your move
Email hello@mexicoshores.com or use the contact form with the question you're trying to answer, such as choosing a city, understanding residency requirements or figuring out what a property purchase involves. The general details that matter are useful, like the cities you're considering or whether you want to rent or buy. Please don't send passport numbers, financial statements or other personal documents.
Suggest a place, service or product
If there's a town, neighborhood, app, lender, insurer or relocation service you'd like Mexico Shores to look at, send its name along with why it matters to you. Suggestions are welcome from readers and businesses alike, but they are considered on their usefulness to readers alone. No one can pay for coverage, a ranking or a review.
Report an error or outdated rule
If a requirement, threshold, price, advisory or link on the site looks wrong or out of date, please tell us which page it is on and, if you can, where you saw the newer information. Every correction is checked against the official or primary source. The page is then updated so the next reader gets accurate information.
